THE WORD
It’s good. Sometimes it can even be great. Am I high on crack? Not yet.
Once I accomplish something major, I have a lot to say… maybe not a lot to write, but I do have to consciously shut my mouth. I’m experiencing one of those moments right now. Enough suspense already. You guys don’t care about words, do ya? :laughs: I do.
I managed to avert near disaster in a number of ways tonight. Let’s just be thankful we can look at patchlickers right now. For a good 45 minutes, I thought the database was going to make my server explode, but it just needed a bit of optimization. Look at me go! I’ve actually learned something while building this site. Ahhhhh… soak it up. It’s a feeling… A feeling much like Victory.

JUST ONE MORE CHANGE…
Hi everyone, sorry for the interruption with the thumbnail previews. I just wanted to make one last tweak with the sizing on the archives pages before settling on things for good. Maybe I’m optimistic, but I think I can get things back to normal by tomorrow’s update… at least the small thumbs, anyway. In the meanwhile, be sure to check out my blog and the text listings if you haven’t already. Hey — at least this time I know what the problem is!
NEW BLOG FEATURES!
If you’ve been browsing my blog today, you might have noticed the lnew podcast and mobile links on the sidebar. I decided to put the proverbial 22’s on my blog by adding the Odiogo.com text to speech podcasts. You may end-up liking them, or hating them… to each their own. If anything, I’m sure it will make you laugh to hear the robotic male voice say “lesbians” and “patchlickers”, as if he’s reporting the six o’ clock news. I know I have! Now that I think of it, I’m going to post a story right after I post this, so you can enjoy a lengthy podcast. lol

What about the little flag icons, you ask? I also found a nice way to translate my blog into five additional languages. It throws the layout of my site a bit out of whack, but you can always look at the English version for the details.

FULL STEAM AHEAD!
WHEW! After a lot of toying around (pun intended), I’ve finally straightened-out the problems we’ve been seeing with patchlickers gallery preview thumbs. No more strange or distorted thumbs, just crystal clear female beauty for one and all. Yes, I’ll finally be back to posting regular blog updates very shortly.
What’s left on my to do list? Not much… mainly reviewing a ton of new galleries, and finally iron-out the “my latest obsession” blurb. I was considering adding a blog post there, but found that the ‘welcome’ space on each page is a much better place to communicate. If you’re happy with what you see, or if you have a suggestion for something you’d like to see, please place your comments on my blog. How do you get there? Just click the “comments” link at the bottom of any post. I’ve reopened my comments to non-registered users, so it’s as easy as sending a text message.

PROBLEMS SOLVED (hopefully)
*UPDATE* My joy may have been premature after looking a bit closer at last night’s update. It appears that there’s still some things that need to be straightened-out in the database. I’ll let you know when things are definitely fixed, although I think that some of the problems will work themselves out after about a week of new updates. Cross your fingers!
Hey everyone! I’m sure you’ve noticed that everything is working once again, but I’m here to let you know the detail. All the thumbnail previews have been generated, and the database seems to be generating the correct results in almost every case. It seems that some of the “Cream of the Crop” gallery thumbs are confused, but I think that will resolve itself once new galleries replace the old. Ya know, you can help fix that problem by clicking on a ton of new/unique galleries. Don’t go out of your way, though. I know you’re on a mission while you’re here.
That’s it for now. I’m going back to enjoying my weekend. Look for a new (variety-packed) update in a few hours.
WHAT’S THE PROBLEM WITH MY SITE?
That’s a good question… As you may have noticed, last week I bumped-up the size of the thumbs on the main page. Ever since then, some big thumbs were getting squeezed into spots for smaller thumbs and vice-versa. Long story short, I had to delete all my thumbs from the database and start from scratch.
Things should be back to normal by tomorrow. In the meanwhile, you may want to try my text listings and archived galleries.

It’s official.. I’m basically done with EVERYTHING on the site, minus the odds and ends. I know I need a contact form, but you can use the blog instead. Let’s see.. that’s it for now. I’ll be getting back to regular posts here once I get some rest.

Patchlickers Theater
It’s about time the small-stuff comes to fruition, even if some things will just be temporary fixes. What am I talking about? The Patchlickers Theater.
You don’t want to miss-out on everything my new Lesbian-Only pay per view theater has to offer, but things are going to get even better in a few months when the theater switches formats to flash-video. The best part? Most of the movies will only require that you sign up for a free account to watch them! I’ll get you more details later.
For now, enjoy my 99% completed site! I’ll be adding a lot more links and li’l things here and there, but we’re getting close. Speaking of which, I’m just about to tackle the “favorite sites” section of Patchlickers, and will post again once it’s completed. Whew… Looks like a nice one outside… Yawn!
Oh, it would be a huge favor if you would post a comment on my blog if you have a preference on my new theater. If enough of you like the current format (pay per view/download) vs. flash video (ie porn tube), I may just keep both once the time comes. After all, my goal is to keep everyone happy. Don’t be shy! I’ve been a busy macaque the last few days. Sorry if you’ve stumbled across something that didn’t work quite right. Anyway, I’ve been flip-flopping on a few design things; the Harvest the Hotties sidebar, for one.
Don’t worry. The “Cream of the Crop” isn’t going anywhere on the daily updates page(s). It just didn’t seem to fit on the archived gallery pages. I thought you might appreciate some bonus content there instead.
